The Reverend Dr. Robin Renteria

Robin has been a UU minister since 1994 and has served as a hospital chaplain at St. Mary's Hospital in San Francisco, as the Minister of Religious Education at the Community Church of Chapel Hill, and as the Summer Minister at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh.

For many years before that, she worked in the corporate world in computer systems design. After a major illness, she then studied alternative healing modalities.

Robin received a Bachelor's degree in mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin in 1972, a Master of Divinity degree from Starr King School for the Ministry in 1994, and a Ph.D. in Educational Foundations from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2001.

She is blessed that most of her extended family lives locally. She loves to hike, quilt, laugh, do the New York Times Sunday crossword puzzle, and garden.
